Materials of Interest:
We collaborate with research centers, aquaculture producers, and other entities that generate, naturally or under controlled conditions, any of the following materials:
- Biomass of toxigenic microalgae (cultures, concentrates, or crude extracts).
- Bivalve mollusks with naturally occurring marine toxins.
- Water or concentrates of cyanobacteria containing microcystins or other cyanotoxins.
- Plant or fungal material with naturally occurring mycotoxins.
- Other biological matrices relevant to toxicological and analytical research.
- Synthetically produced material.
Requirements and Guarantees:
To ensure a safe process in compliance with current regulations, CIFGA establishes the following:
- Acceptance only of materials from authorized entities with supporting documentation.
- Strict adherence to biosafety, transport, and traceability regulations.
- Signing of Material Transfer Agreements (MTAs) when necessary.
- Safe management of materials and disposal of waste in accordance with applicable legislation.
- Confidentiality and protection of information associated with each collaboration.
